Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Trades Specialist for the Boston, MA area to drive sales of DEWALT, STANLEY, and other brands through end-user partnerships and effective field leadership.

The role focuses on developing relationships, mentoring local market teams, and coordinating with marketing and distributors. Candidates should have a strong sales background, a Bachelor’s degree preferred, and the ability to travel up to 50% within the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Marketing, or related field.
• 3+ years in sales/marketing for construction supplies with success selling to executives.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and be able to travel up to 50% within territory.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Excel/PowerPoint/Word/Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Achieve top-line sales targets based on division and local market goals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with end-user partners and manage contracts and programs.
• Mentor and train local market teams on End User development and purchasing processes.
• Partner with Channel Marketing to coordinate marketing initiatives.
• Maintain and utilize Salesforce.com for CRM and planning, communicating results to improve future strategies.
