Job summary

Air Products is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive new business in the Sacramento/Galt, CA area. You will identify prospects, craft technical and commercial proposals with the engineering team, and develop pricing strategies to win opportunities.

Field prospecting is encouraged about 4 days per week to expand our customer base. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with strong technical aptitude and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with strong technical aptitude.
• Experience in sales is highly desirable.
• Good communicator with ability to build relationships with customers and teammates.
• Demonstrated motivation to win and learn continuously.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage target prospects, communicating commercial and technical proposals.
• Develop pricing strategies, contracts, and commercial proposals to secure new business.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to craft technical proposals and ensure solution fits customer needs.
• Be active in prospecting for potential customers in the field, approximately 4 days per week.
