Job summary

Air Products Inc. is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to cover the Sacramento/Galt, CA area. You will identify and win new business, develop pricing and commercial proposals, and work with engineering to ensure solutions meet customer needs.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 2-5 years of sales, and a valid driver’s license. Expect travel in the territory and a compensation range of ~$70k–$100k+.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with strong technical aptitude.
• 2-5 years of successfully demonstrated sales experience preferred.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license, a clean driving record and the ability to access and safely operate a reliable personal vehicle on an ongoing basis.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the US without current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage target prospects, communicating both commercial and technical proposals.
• Develop pricing strategies, contracts, and commercial proposals to secure new business.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to craft technical proposals and ensure solution meets customer needs.
• Prospect for potential customers in the field four days per week.
