Phoenix Metals Company is seeking a dedicated Outside Sales professional to cover the eastern Tennessee and parts of southeast Kentucky territory. You will promote and sell products, originate leads, and manage customer accounts from a primary contact role, using phone and email to grow business.

The role emphasizes developing sales strategies, negotiating pricing, and coordinating with operations to fulfill orders while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 0-5 years of relevant experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High School diploma/GED required; Bachelor degree preferred.
• Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service.
• Knowledge of metals industry and product applications.

Responsibilities

• Sell Phoenix products to business and industrial customers in eastern TN and parts of KY.
• Serve as primary contact, maintain relationships, and address issues with assigned customers.
• Develop sales strategies, lead generation, and action plans to grow opportunities.
• Prepare quotations and negotiate pricing within guidelines.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure terms are followed and deliveries occur.
• Maintain customer records and monitor satisfaction; provide feedback for improvements.
