Job summary

Goodin Company in Eau Claire, WI is seeking an outside sales representative to drive revenue by acquiring new customers, building relationships, and closing deals in our Plumbing/HVAC and Piping distribution business.

The role requires strong sales and negotiation skills, product knowledge, ability to meet targets, and willingness to travel as needed. Competitive pay includes salary plus commission, health benefits, a 401K plan, and paid time off.

Qualifications

Outside sales experience required.
High School diploma or higher preferred.
Experience with Order and Quotation software.
Knowledge of building material distribution in mechanical trades preferred.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

Customer Acquisition: Identify and approach potential customers to generate new business relationships.
Product Knowledge: Develop understanding of products and explain features, benefits, and applications to clients.
Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients for loyalty and repeat business.
Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to clients.
Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions and competitors to drive sales strategies.
Sales Strategies: Develop and implement strategies to meet and exceed targets.
Customer Support: Provide ongoing support and address client questions and needs.
