Job summary

Goodin Company is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist/Customer Service to work with customers and Outside Sales Representatives to ensure product needs are processed accurately and promptly. You will build relationships with customers calling in or visiting, take phone orders, service walk-ins, verify delivery methods, and coordinate orders with the Outside Sales team.

If you have plumbing or heating knowledge, strong communication skills, and a customer-first approach, this role offers growth

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar position preferred.
• Willingness to learn new product knowledge.
• May lift up to 25 lbs and sit at a computer terminal for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers calling in and placing product orders.
• Interact with customers before, during, and after a sale, including taking phone orders and servicing walk-in customers.
• Ensure that customer orders are entered and processed in a timely manner.
• Verify order delivery method for accuracy.
• Coordinate customer sales orders with Outside Sales Representatives.
• Identify customer needs and suggest products that fit.
