Outside Salespeople play a crucial role in driving revenue and growth for our company by reaching out to potential customers, building relationships, and ultimately closing sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Customer Acquisition: Identify and approach potential customers to generate new business relationships.


• Product Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of the products or services being offered and be able to explain their features, benefits, and applications to potential clients.


• Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.


• Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations and proposals to potential clients, outlining how the product or service can meet their needs.


• Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to make informed sales strategies.


• Sales Strategies: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets and goals.


• Customer Support: Provide ongoing support and assistance to clients, addressing their questions, concerns, and needs.

Education and Experience

• High School, College and/or Tech School preferred


• Previous outside sales experience is needed.


• Experience with Order, Quotation software.


• Knowledge of building material distribution preferable in Mechanical Trades.

Physical Demands

• May occasionally lift 25 pounds.


• Regular use of hands, arms, and fingers in order to feel, grasp, type, or reach.


• Ability to sit at a computer terminal and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time.


• Close vision requirements due to computer work.
