Job summary

Momper Insulation is seeking a driven Sales Representative to sell insulation and building-envelope solutions directly to builders, contractors, and construction professionals. You will thrive on jobsite interaction, interpret plans, and grow long-term contractor relationships.

Responsibilities include site assessments, takeoffs, advising on systems, and coordinating with installation crews. Travel to job sites is required, with a focus on growing the customer base and pipeline.

Qualifications

• Construction background in building materials, estimating, field supervision, or trade sales.
• Read and interpret construction plans.
• Experience working with builders, remodelers, or commercial contractors.
• Knowledge of insulation, fireproofing, or building-envelope systems is a major plus.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Jobsite assessments — visit residential and commercial projects to evaluate insulation needs.
• Construction takeoffs — read drawings to prepare material takeoffs and proposals.
• Builder & contractor advising — recommend code-compliant insulation solutions.
• Relationship development — build partnerships with GCs, superintendents, PMs, and trade partners.
• Business generation — drive sales through contractor networks and site visits.
• Project coordination — ensure scope accuracy and schedule alignment with crews.
• CRM & documentation — maintain records and pipeline documentation.
