Job summary

Generator Supercenter of Detroit is seeking a results-driven Sales Representative to actively seek out and engage customer prospects. You will run appointments, visit locations, analyze needs, and construct detailed proposals, negotiating and closing sales.

You will process orders, provide documentation, and spend time at big-box stores managing displays and capturing leads. A strong emphasis on building relationships and meeting targets runs throughout the role.

Qualifications

• Highly motivated and target driven.
• Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills.
• Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
• Must have Valid TDL, Good Driving Record, Pass a Background Check and Reliable Transportation.

Responsibilities

• Running appointments with customers based on incoming leads.
• Visiting customer locations, analyzing customer needs, and putting a detailed proposal together.
• Negotiate and close the sale.
• Process order and provide office staff with all required documentation.
• Spend time managing displays at big box stores and taking leads when needed.
• Following up on older leads as tracked within the company system.
• Maintaining positive business relationships to ensure future sales.
• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
• Outside Sales Reps report into HQ throughout the week as needed.
• After the 90 days probationary period, vehicle + fuel card may be provided.
