Job summary

Summit Business Group is seeking a Direct Sales Representative to cover a Montana sales territory. You will plan your own schedule, focus on in-person calls with business owners, and use our Salesforce CRM to build relationships and close sales. The role emphasizes outbound outreach, client care, and tailored insurance solutions.

You will usually work in the field, with training provided, and a strong emphasis on customer service, follow-ups, and expanding coverage options for clients.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience in sales or similar customer facing role.
• Experience in an outside sales position is a plus.
• Door to door sales or business to business experience preferred.
• Ability to manage the full training cycle, including in-person activities and web-based learning.
• Hands-on experience with e-learning platforms.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan your own schedule and set working hours to reach business owners and key decision-makers.
• Conduct in-person sales calls and cold calls to generate leads in your territory.
• Build rapport, deliver compelling product presentations, and close sales or secure follow-up appointments.
• Maintain strong client relationships with prompt communication and guidance through claims.
• Proactively check in with clients to expand insurance coverage with additional lines.
