Job summary

Tamarack Materials, Inc. in Des Moines, IA seeks an Outside Sales professional to manage all sales activities from lead generation through close in an assigned territory. Training covers building materials knowledge and product lines relevant to drywall, insulation, and related construction items.

You will develop and implement the company marketing plan, build customer relationships, and drive revenue and growth aligned with branch goals and values. Travel up to 30% may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong Microsoft Office skills and ability to manage multiple accounts.
• Experience in supplier relationship management is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all steps of sales process from lead to close in a defined territory.
• Identify and pursue up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
• Establish rapport and build long-term customer relationships.
• Provide timely pricing and proposals; negotiate terms within guidelines.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure timely delivery and service.
• Develop territory growth plans and sales initiatives.
