Job summary

Louisiana Cat in Louisiana is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to cover the Monroe territory. You will drive outside sales of Cat equipment management solutions, blend hunter instincts with consultative selling, and build lasting customer relationships while representing a trusted Caterpillar brand.

The role requires travel within the territory, qualification in business/sales, and proficiency with CRM systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales or related field.
• Strong technical, mechanical, and business aptitude.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• 2–3 years outside product sales experience (preferred).
• CRM experience (Salesforce) preferred.
• Knowledge of Caterpillar product lines or heavy equipment industry knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a sales professional for customer accounts in the Monroe territory.
• Pursue, build, maximize and close sales transactions.
• Become knowledgeable on customer financing, licensing policies, warranties, and invoicing.
• Collaborate with Sales Management/GM to set monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals.
• Attain sales targets by maximizing loyalty and repeat business.
• Provide detailed sales reports and invoices to management.
