Job summary

QXO, a leading distributor and installer of building products, seeks an Outside Sales Representative to drive profitable growth in an assigned territory. You will prospect, build relationships, and deliver solutions to contractors, builders, developers, and commercial customers.

The role emphasizes field-based selling, customer service excellence, and achieving sales targets. Candidates should have 2+ years in outside sales and a bachelor's degree; willingness to travel is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of outside sales experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field preferred
• Experience in building materials, construction, distribution, manufacturing, or related industries preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, cold calling, and visits
• Grow existing customer relationships and identify opportunities for account growth
• Develop and execute territory sales strategy focused on acquisition and growth
• Maintain active sales pipeline and manage opportunities in CRM/ERP
• Meet or exceed sales, margin, and customer growth objectives
• Coordinate with operations, inventory, and delivery teams to fulfill orders
