Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation, a leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, is seeking a Field Sales professional to cover the Madison, WI area. You will visit job sites, build long-term partnerships with contractors and engineers, and drive annual sales and gross margin targets.

Candidates must reside within a 35-mile radius of Madison, have 2+ years in Construction/Industrial/ Manufacturing, and be able to travel locally.

Qualifications

Hold a high school diploma or GED; trade/technical school is a plus.
2+ years in Construction, Industrial, Manufacturing or Technology industries.
Ability to travel locally within the assigned territory.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; we cannot sponsor visas.

Responsibilities

Actively visit job sites, customer facilities, and engineering offices to grow territory accounts and position ALC as the preferred controls provider.
Develop long-term partnerships with mechanical contractors, consulting engineers, and facility owners; perform site walkthroughs and needs assessments.
Perform take-offs and bid projects; draft specifications and propose retrofit control solutions with engineering partners.
Manage the full sales cycle and negotiate with contractors to close deals.
Deliver on-site presentations to building owners and project managers and coordinate with operations for project execution.
Use CRM and sales tools to plan visits and track milestones and opportunities.
