Job summary

Carrier, a global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, is seeking a Field Engineer for Automated Logic in Madison, WI. You will install, commission, and optimize DDC systems, solving automation challenges with strong technical judgment.

Travel as needed, own projects from start to finish, and train owners on system operation while documenting progress and outcomes for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of professional experience in HVAC, Building automation, IT, or Industrial Networking.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability by Carrier.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Comfort working at heights and using ladders or lifts.

Responsibilities

• System Performance: Install, commission, and optimize advanced DDC systems.
• Proactive Problem Solving: troubleshoot automation challenges and mitigate risks.
• Technical Leadership: train owners and collaborate with Project Managers.
• Travel & Growth: travel as needed and own end-to-end projects.
• Project Integrity: maintain documentation and participate in reviews.
