Job summary

Spectrum is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to connect with the community face-to-face and promote Spectrum Internet, TV, Mobile and Voice services. The role emphasizes outdoor fieldwork, meeting targets, and building lasting customer relationships.

You’ll work outdoors most of the time, with evenings and weekends required, and you can earn a base salary plus lucrative incentives that can bring total compensation over $100,000 annually, plus employee discounts on Spectrum services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Willing to travel and work evenings/weekends to maximize contacts.
• Excellent customer-facing communication and sales skills.
• Able to work outdoors and independently.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new residential customers by visiting assigned leads and introducing Spectrum’s offerings.
• Conduct consultative needs analyses to tailor product recommendations for each prospective customer.
• Present compelling sales proposals that align with customer needs and highlight Spectrum’s solutions.
• Complete all required sales documentation accurately, including dispositioning, order entry and reporting.
• Participate actively in sales meetings and training sessions to support team goals and professional development.
• Achieve monthly sales targets across high-speed data, mobile, landline phone and video services.
• Monitor competitors’ activities within your territory and communicate relevant information to your manager.
