Job summary

Spectrum is hiring an Outside Sales Representative to connect customers with high-speed data and communication services. The role involves face-to-face engagements to expand access and drive growth, with a base salary plus incentives that can exceed $100,000 in total compensation.

Responsibilities include acquiring new residential customers, conducting needs analyses, presenting tailored proposals, and completing all sales documentation. Travel is required, with evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Strong interpersonal skills and drive to sell.
• Willing to travel door-to-door in local communities.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Able to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new residential customers by visiting assigned leads and presenting Spectrum’s offerings.
• Conduct consultative needs analyses to tailor product recommendations for each prospective customer.
• Present sales proposals that align with customer needs and Spectrum’s solutions.
• Complete all required sales documentation accurately, including dispositioning, order entry and reporting.
• Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to support team goals and professional development.
• Achieve monthly sales targets across high-speed data, mobile, landline phone and video services.
• Monitor competitors’ activities within your territory and communicate relevant information to your manager.
