Job summary

The Wonderful Company is seeking a Field Sales Merchandiser in the Albuquerque, NM area. This full-time role focuses on increasing brand awareness for our grocery-store shoppers across a broad territory and includes a company car with a gas card and a Monday-to-Friday schedule starting at 7am.

You will develop relationships, optimize in-store placements, manage displays, and drive distribution across all Wonderful brands.

Qualifications

• Proven retail sales success promoting grocery store products and building partnerships with store staff.
• Ability to present compelling reasonings to store management to drive display and purchase.
• Experience managing a large store territory and daily drive time.
• Strong selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Detail-oriented, goal-minded, and capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 60+ grocery retail relationships within an assigned 100+ mile range.
• Determine best shelf locations for all Wonderful brand products by organizing displays.
• Rotate and stock all company products during store calls.
• Maintain schematic integrity during remodels and grand openings per retailer requests.
• Build relationships with retailer personnel to facilitate account penetration.
• Sell and maintain distribution for all HQ-approved products across stores in territory.
• Accurately record data using company handheld devices.
• Execute company marketing programs and manage POS and coupon ties-ins.
• Communicate daily with teams about chain-specific information.
