Job summary

Wonderful Sales, the sales and merchandising organization for The Wonderful Company, is seeking a Field Sales Merchandiser for the Burlington, VT area. This full-time role increases brand awareness in grocery stores with a typical 7am start and a company car with a gas card.

The position requires travel within the territory and provides comprehensive benefits. You will develop relationships, optimize product placement, rotate stock, and drive distribution for Wonderful brands across stores in

Qualifications

• Proven retail sales success promoting grocery store products.
• Ability to form partnerships with store and produce managers.
• Experience managing a large store territory and daily drive time.
• Excellent selling, negotiation, and partnership-building skills.
• Detail-oriented, goal-minded, and problem-solving independently.
• Strong interpersonal and time management abilities.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 100+ grocery retail relationships within 100+ mile territory.
• Determine best in-store locations for displays of Wonderful products.
• Rotate and stock all company products at each call.
• Maintain schematic integrity during remodels and grand openings.
• Develop relationships with retailer personnel to improve penetration.
• Sell and maintain retail distribution of headquarters products.
• Record data gathering with company handheld devices.
• Execute and monitor marketing initiatives including POS and coupons.
• Provide daily supply chain information and communication.
