Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in retail, merchandising, or account management.
• Experience supervising or managing others and a budget preferred.
• Strong delegation and independent work skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct the work of Merchandisers, including planning and delegating.
• Use strategic selling tactics to educate major home center retail partners.
• Develop retail sales and marketing plans and tools.
• Develop recruiting plans, interview and hire Merchandisers, and manage budget.
• Provide product knowledge across Scotts brands.
• Assist retailers with merchandising and POS materials.
