ScottsMiracle-Gro is seeking a Sales Manager for the Flagstaff, AZ area to lead a field sales team and manage retailer relationships with major home centers. You will develop and execute sales plans, oversee merchandising, and coach a Merchandiser team to drive store presence.

The role offers leadership growth, bonus potential, and vehicle reimbursement, with a starting salary in the $62k–$73k range and eligibility for corporate bonus programs. Travel and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in retail, merchandising, and or account management.
• Preferred experience supervising/managing other employees and a budget.
• Strong delegation skills.
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
• Experience using sales forecasting tools.
• A problem solving and service oriented attitude.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends.
• Current, valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to walk, stand, climb an 8-12 foot ladder, lift up to 45 lbs and be exposed to weather elements.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and direct the work of Merchandisers including planning, scheduling and delegating work assignments along with providing ongoing feedback.
• Utilize strategic selling tactics by analyzing and preparing key metrics to educate our home center retail partners on business opportunities.
• Develop retail sales/marketing plans and other creative marketing tools and events.
• Develop recruiting plans, interviewing, and make hiring decisions to build out your Merchandiser team while effectively managing your budget.
• Provide job training and communicate product knowledge across the portfolio of Scotts brands.
• Assist retailers in proper merchandising of Scott’s product lines, including the use of point-of-purchase materials, as appropriate, to meet account needs.
