Qualifications

• 3+ years of outside, direct, or field sales experience.
• 2+ years of leadership experience managing a field-based sales team.
• Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop sales professionals.
• Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Experience managing performance metrics, KPIs, and sales reporting.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, Excel, and sales technology tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of outside sales representatives to achieve individual and team performance goals.
• Conduct regular ride-alongs and field coaching sessions to improve sales effectiveness, objection handling, and closing techniques.
• Facilitate daily team meetings, training sessions, role-plays, and one-on-one coaching conversations.
• Foster a culture of accountability, customer service, and continuous improvement.
• Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new sales representatives.
• Maintain a strong candidate pipeline to support ongoing hiring needs and growth initiatives.
• Develop team members into top performers while identifying future leadership potential.
• Utilize a consultative sales approach to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate service solutions.
• Support the team in overcoming objections and communicating value effectively.
• Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline while ensuring consistent prospecting activity.
• Drive new customer acquisition through direct field engagement and local networking efforts.
