Job summary

Trex Company is seeking a Sales Representative/Account Manager to manage key customer relationships and grow new business. You’ll be the primary contact for territory distributor locations, manage the distributor network, and develop markets as part of the Field Sales team.

A bachelor’s degree is preferred; 3+ years outside sales experience is required for Sales Representative and 5+ years for Account Manager, with potential for a bonus based on performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outside sales experience required for Sales Representative.
• 5+ years of outside sales experience required for Account Manager.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience as account executive, field sales representative or key account manager is valued.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for day-to-day responsibilities for all top distributor locations within your territory.
• Develop and leverage strong relationships with key distributor contacts at each branch location.
• Develop annual business plans with the Regional/District Sales Manager and set KPI targets with the Regional Sales Manager.
• Manage the distributor network and prospect for new accounts and developing markets.
• Travel within district for customer meetings and trade shows; maintain travel budget and expense reporting.
