Job summary

Fortrex is seeking an Account Management Division Manager to lead a field team across a defined territory focused on food safety solutions. The role oversees budgeting for chemicals, equipment, freight, and labor while maintaining strong customer relationships and seeking new business opportunities.

Travel is required to plants within the region; you will supervise a team of Account Management professionals and coordinate with the Safe Foods division to ensure effective order, delivery, and

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old.
• Associate's degree or 7–10 years in sanitation/food processing industry.
• Area Manager or equivalent experience (18 months experience at this level preferred).
• Display strong managerial skills including decision-making and conflict resolution.
• Maintain integrity, honesty, initiative, and customer focus.
• Proficient computer skills associated with Microsoft Office and basic skills required to learn new programs.
• Possess a valid and active driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Account Management Area Managers and Account Managers to achieve stated goals and serve our customers with excellence.
• Manage the approval process for expenses of territory personnel.
• Oversee budgets for chemicals, equipment, freight/fuel, and labor in your territory.
• Maintain open communication with management about variances.
• Develop and generate new business opportunities within the territory.
• Other duties as assigned.
