Job summary

Philip Morris International's U.S. is offering an Undergraduate Intern – Field Sales Summer 2027. You will work in the Commercial organization within an assigned territory, gaining hands-on exposure to field sales, analytics, and retailer engagement.

During a 10-week program (June 7–August 13, 2027), you will ride along with Territory Sales Managers, analyze market data, and contribute to projects that support territory growth and customer experience. Valid US work authorization required.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s degree program.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using data to generate business insights.
• Demonstrated leadership through academics, student organizations, athletics, work experience, or community involvement.

Responsibilities

• Participate in ride-alongs with Territory Sales Managers to observe retail execution and customer engagement.
• Analyze sales, market, and territory data to identify business opportunities and trends.
• Support territory performance reviews and develop recommendations to improve results.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, Consumer Experience, and Business Development teams.
• Conduct competitive and market research.
• Assist with retail activation and merchandising initiatives.
• Support projects focused on improving commercial effectiveness and operational efficiency.
• Present project findings and recommendations to business leaders at the conclusion of the internship.
