Job summary

Philip Morris International U.S. seeks an Undergraduate Intern for Field Sales during Summer 2027. You will work in the Commercial organization, supporting Territory Sales Managers and analyzing market data to drive territory growth.

You'll participate in ride-alongs, contribute to retail activation, and present findings to leaders. This 10-week program offers hands-on projects, professional development, and exposure to cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s degree program.
• Expected graduation Dec 2027 to May 2028.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using data to generate business insights.
• Demonstrated leadership through academics, clubs, athletics, or work.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Interest in sales, consumer products, business development, or commercial strategy.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally within the territory.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Participate in ride-alongs with Territory Sales Managers to observe retail execution and customer engagement.
• Analyze sales, market, and territory data to identify business opportunities and trends.
• Support territory performance reviews and develop recommendations to improve results.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, Consumer Experience, and Business Development teams.
• Conduct competitive and market research.
• Assist with retail activation and merchandising initiatives.
• Support projects focused on improving commercial effectiveness and operational efficiency.
• Present project findings and recommendations to business leaders at the conclusion of the internship.
