Job summary

PMI U.S. Undergraduate Intern – Field Sales Summer 2027 offers hands-on exposure to field sales and commercial operations within a defined territory. You will work with experienced sales leaders to translate strategic plans into market results and build retailer relationships to drive performance.

Interns will analyze market trends, work in the field alongside sales professionals, and contribute to projects that support territory growth and consumer engagement.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s degree program.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable using data to generate business insights.
• Demonstrated leadership through academics, student groups, athletics, work, or community involvement.

Responsibilities

• Participate in ride-alongs with Territory Sales Managers to observe retail execution and customer engagement.
• Analyze sales, market, and territory data to identify business opportunities and trends.
• Support territory performance reviews and develop recommendations to improve results.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, Consumer Experience, and Business Development teams.
• Conduct competitive and market research.
• Assist with retail activation and merchandising initiatives.
• Support projects focused on improving commercial effectiveness and operational efficiency.
• Present project findings and recommendations to business leaders at the conclusion of the internship.
