Job summary

Socket Fiber is seeking a Business Sales Executive to cover the Rolla, Missouri market. You’ll generate leads, meet decision-makers, and present Socket’s internet and UCaaS solutions to small and mid-size businesses.

In this field-based role you’ll manage your pipeline, hit monthly targets, and represent the brand with integrity. Training and growth opportunities are provided in a collaborative, fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Current and valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
• Ability to travel daily within a 30-90 minute radius.
• Must be able to walk/stand for long periods.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather.
• Comfort with rejection in a performance-driven, commission-based role.
• Availability for an 8 AM daily team meeting (virtual).

Responsibilities

• Own your local territory by generating leads through door-to-door prospecting and networking.
• Introduce decision-makers to Socket Fiber’s business services.
• Assess customer needs and tailor solutions from our broadband and UCaaS offerings.
• Hit monthly sales goals and key performance benchmarks.
• Manage your pipeline in Salesforce and follow up to close opportunities.
• Participate in daily sales calls, team check-ins, and training.
• Be the face of Socket in your market and maintain a professional presence.
• Drive efficient field work and manage mileage.
• Pitch in with additional duties to help the team grow.
