Job summary

Core & Main LP is seeking a Sales Engineer to grow Brecco Water Solutions across the eastern seaboard. The candidate will blend technical expertise with strategic sales to engage engineers, municipalities and contractors and drive product adoption in water works applications.

The role requires strong technical aptitude, field training capability, and the ability to travel up to 75% to support distributors and customers with seminars, demonstrations, and expert guidance on design and installation.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required or equivalent with strong technical background.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with customers.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with engineers, municipalities and contractors.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time; reliable self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Expand market share and achieve sales targets for Brecco product lines in the assigned territory.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities with owners, engineering firms, municipalities, and other stakeholders.
• Promote the Brecco Product Catalog and drive acceptance and specification across the region.
• Present Brecco solutions to engineering offices, design consultants, and contractors to influence specs.
• Conduct technical seminars, product demonstrations, and training sessions.
• Provide technical support through design, selection, and installation phases.
• Maintain a structured weekly reporting process and develop territory sales plans.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and strategic alignment.
• Engage distributors with training, joint calls, and project pursuit strategies.
• Visit job sites to monitor installation practices and provide field training where needed.
