Job summary

Core & Main LP seeks a Sales Engineer for Brecco Water Solutions to drive growth across the eastern seaboard by working with engineers, municipalities and contractors. The role blends technical product knowledge with strategic sales execution, ensuring successful adoption of Brecco solutions in water works applications.

You will promote the full Brecco product catalog, deliver technical seminars, and provide field support through design, selection and installation phases.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required (Mechanical, Industrial, or related)
• Strong technical aptitude with piping systems, industrial plumbing products or mechanical components
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills
• Ability to travel extensively (up to 75%)
• Residence within the Eastern to mid-west regions
• Preferred: experience in industrial piping, waterworks or related industries
• Knowledge of industrial piping systems, waterworks and standards (AWWA, NSF, UL/FM)
• Experience working with engineering firms, contractors or distribution networks

Responsibilities

• Expand market share and achieve sales targets for Brecco product lines within the assigned territory.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities with owners, engineering firms, municipalities, and other key stakeholders.
• Promote the Brecco Product Catalog and drive product acceptance and specification across the region.
• Present Brecco solutions to engineering offices, design consultants, and contractors to influence specifications and project designs.
• Conduct technical seminars, product demonstrations, and training sessions for proper usage of Brecco products.
• Provide technical support throughout design, selection and installation phases.
• Maintain a structured weekly reporting process and develop territory sales plans.
• Coordinate with internal sales colleagues to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across the region.
• Build strong relationships with local Brecco distributors and support joint sales calls and training.
• Visit job sites to monitor installation practices and provide field training as needed.
• Provide feedback to Brecco Engineering for product improvements and customer satisfaction
