Job summary

Core & Main LP is hiring a Sales Engineer to drive growth for Brecco Water Solutions across the eastern seaboard. You will combine technical expertise with strategic sales, engaging engineers, municipalities, and contractors to promote branded solutions and ensure successful adoption in water works projects.

The role requires an engineering degree, strong technical aptitude, and the ability to travel up to 75% while building relationships with distributors and customers across the region.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) required or preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude with piping systems, industrial plumbing products, or mechanical components.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel extensively (up to 75% of the time).
• Residence within Eastern to mid-west regions.

Responsibilities

• Expand market share and achieve sales targets for Brecco product lines within the assigned territory.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities with owners, engineering firms, municipalities, and key stakeholders.
• Promote the full Brecco Product Catalog and drive product acceptance and specification across the region.
• Present Brecco solutions to engineering offices, design consultants, and contractors to influence specifications and project designs.
• Conduct technical seminars, product demonstrations, and training sessions.
• Provide technical support and guidance throughout design, selection, and installation phases.
• Maintain a structured weekly reporting process and develop territory sales plans.
• Coordinate with internal sales colleagues to ensure consistent messaging and strategic alignment.
• Visit job sites to monitor installation practices and provide field training when needed.
