Bystronic Inc. is seeking a field-based Sales professional in the Hartford, CT area to develop and execute sales strategies for a defined territory.

You will engage potential customers via calls, visits, and demonstrations, coordinating with Applications and Regional Sales teams to drive orders and customer success. The role requires strong communication, CRM proficiency, and a proven ability to travel up to 50% to client sites, industry events, and training centers.

Qualifikationen

• Two years or more of metal industry sales or applications experience.
• Capital equipment sales experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Aufgaben

• Develop long- and short-range sales strategies with the Regional Sales Manager.
• Contact customers via phone, email, and site visits; travel as needed.
• Demonstrate machinery at client locations and coordinate demos.
• Prepare and print budget quotations and detailed client quotations.
• Expand customer base and develop new leads.
• Plan field travel for geographically grouped visits.
• Submit visit reports to the Regional Sales Manager.
• Attend trade shows and industry events; share competitive insights.
• Coordinate with Installation/Service to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Supply forecast, win/loss, and month-end reports to management.
• Assist with advertising promotions.
• Maintain the customer database for the territory.
