Schaeffler is seeking a high-performing Sales Representative to drive sales across the Industrial Distribution unit in the United States. The role targets radial and linear bearing products, building relationships with distributors and end-users, and executing strategic sales initiatives.

Ideal candidates will reside in the Des Moines, IA or Omaha, NE areas or within the Iowa/Nebraska territory. The position requires approximately 50% travel, strong communication skills, and a proven track

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent in engineering, business or related field.
• 2+ years sales experience selling engineered components to distributors or OEMs.
• Proven ability to influence decisions and maintain ethics in complex environments.
• Proficient with CRM systems (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel ~50% and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Achieve technical proficiency in Schaeffler's product portfolio.
• Evaluate market potential and competitive landscape within the territory.
• Develop insights into customer businesses and link success to Schaeffler products.
• Build and maintain relationships with distributors and end-customers.
• Travel regularly within the territory to engage distributors and end customers.
• Generate new business by understanding customer decision factors and articulating value propositions.
• Respond to inquiries and process orders promptly and professionally.
• Review sales reports and maintain detailed logs in CRM.
