Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or Business with automation experience.
• 5–7 years in a sales or industry-related role.
• Hands-on automation experience (PLC, motion, HMI) and transition to sales.
• Strong understanding of automation hardware and software.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the Iowa territory to meet revenue targets.
• Lead in-person and virtual customer meetings to uncover needs and close deals.
• Collaborate with Regional Director and Application Engineers to tailor automation solutions.
• Maintain a structured sales pipeline and accurate CRM records.
• Represent Beckhoff at trade shows and industry events.
