Job summary

The role focuses on fluid power applications and electrical controls, with a collaborative team and growth opportunities. The candidate should have industrial systems sales experience or a mechanical engineering degree with Fluid Power experience; a Fluid Power Certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Industrial systems sales experience preferred.
• Mechanical engineering degree with Fluid Power experience is a plus.
• Fluid Power Certification or 3 years of experience in specifying products to OEMs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective business plans and strategies for assigned account growth, analyze customer base market conditions and forecast future needs.
• Set and achieve forecasted growth targets for core product lines.
• Maintain gross margin to meet forecasted targets and improve gross profit margins as directed by Sales Management.
• Emphasize the sale of EVA services and other gross margin improvements.
• Interact effectively with customers to understand operations and needs.
• Practice and demonstrate “needs driven” selling skills, including identifying the customer value system.
• Meet, communicate and cooperate with vendor sales representatives.
• Communicate regularly with the FSM and other personnel regarding performance, complaints, inquiries, competitive activities, problems, market conditions or information.
• Inform customers of established terms and conditions of sale.
• Plan and budget time, travel, and administrative activities; manage sales-related expenses.
