Job summary

ASSA ABLOY in Houston seeks a Field Sales Engineer to promote and sell electromechanical and electronic access control solutions in the local territory.

You will be the territory expert, coordinating with integrators, contractors, and end users to design and deploy secure access systems and ensure successful deployments. The role includes partner training, deployment planning, and cross‑functional teamwork to win new business.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of industry‑related experience in field sales with EM/EAC products or systems.
• College/university degree or work experience commensurate with minimum high school/GED diploma.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell ASSA ABLOY EM and EAC products in a team‑selling environment.
• Certify integrators' sales, installation, and support capabilities through formal hands‑on product training.
• Train and support the channel, influencers, and other internal personnel.
• Facilitate deployments of product test beds at certified integrators’ facilities and trial installations at end‑user locations.
• Collaborate to develop plans for increasing sales in the assigned territory.
• Develop wiring diagrams and represent ASSA ABLOY in installation meetings with contractors and stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot EM and EAC product‑related issues and work with integrators to resolve them.
