Job summary

Florida Tile Inc. seeks an Outside Sales Representative to sell, promote, and specify our tile products to contractors, builders, dealers, architects, and designers.

The role also covers sales merchandising, technical information, customer knowledge, and evaluating market needs in the assigned territory. Responsibilities include relationship development with major clients, meeting monthly sales budgets, product displays, program introductions, and competitive analysis.

Qualifications

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• At least three years of direct sales experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline preferred.
• Ability to achieve company goals with little supervision.
• Overall analysis of markets to set goals and forecast sales.

Responsibilities

• Target, call on, and develop relationships with major builders, contractors, dealers, architects, designers.
• Meet and exceed monthly sales budgets to achieve annual goals.
• Set up product displays and modify as appropriate.
• Introduce and initiate company programs and new product introductions.
• Assess competitors and maintain product catalogs and spec sheets for branch manager.
• Prospecting, qualifying and establishing new customers.
• Evaluate product field issues and resolve them per guidelines.
• Use and maintain knowledge of SAP.
• Notify branch management when samples are low.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
