Job summary

Hamilton Building Supply is seeking an Outside Sales Account Manager for the Greater Philadelphia and Central/South Jersey territories. The role focuses on driving new business, growing existing accounts, and selling a wide range of building materials to builders, remodelers, general contractors, subcontractors, and architects.

You will provide product expertise, design solutions, and exceptional service to customers throughout every project phase, from initial contact to close, leveraging our

Qualifications

• College degree or at least five years of building material sales or construction related experience and/or training.
• Strong proficiency with desktop computing tools (Microsoft Office, POS systems) and related software.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with professional and homeowner customers.
• Maintain constant contact and business development efforts with all assigned accounts.
• Communicate new product and service offerings from Hamilton Building Supply to customers.
• Be proficient in plan take-offs, project walk-throughs, measuring, and product specifying.
• Establish project budgets and provide customized solutions to close business.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales to ensure timely communication.
• Provide material estimates and proposals, and follow up with customers.
• Manage all aspects of a customer’s project from inception to completion.
• Collect authorizations, deposits, and balances in a timely manner.
