Job summary

Summit Line Construction is seeking a Safety Manager to lead safety programs, audits, and training across field operations. The role emphasizes proactive safety leadership in complex projects and adherence to OSHA and DOT regulations.

The candidate will drive a strong safety culture and ensure the health of all employees. The ideal candidate brings hands-on leadership in heavy industrial environments, with experience supporting crews on large-scale projects and a track record of improving safety

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in safety management preferred.
1–3 years of safety experience in heavy industrial or civil construction.
OSHA 30 certification required; OSHA 510 preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs and procedures.
Lead safety audits and inspections to ensure OSHA and DOT compliance.
Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and preventive actions.
Perform regular workplace inspections and ensure equipment safety compliance.
Communicate safety policies to employees and management; partner with officials and subcontractors.
Analyze safety data and trends; report to management with KPIs.
Support HSE program development and incident investigations.
Stay updated on OSHA, DOT and related regulations.
