Job summary

Freedom Industries, Inc. is seeking a Site Safety Representative to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free environment on our industrial construction projects. This role trains field personnel on safety requirements, oversees procedures, and supports audits.

The position requires 3–5 years in safety management in an industrial construction setting, OSHA 510 certification, knowledge of SDS, permits, and incident investigations. Field-focused duties with reporting to the main office.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
• OSHA 510 REQUIRED (OSHA 500 preferred).
• 3–5 years’ experience in safety management in an industrial construction environment.
• Working knowledge of safety practices and conducting accident investigations.
• Minimum 2 years’ proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Review and develop SPA documents daily and submit electronically.
• Ensure adherence to site safety procedures and company policies.
• Track PPE, fall protection, confined space, and first aid items.
• Maintain safety observation reports and site audits.
• Assist in obtaining site permits and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Conduct monthly random drug screenings.
• Lead daily toolbox talks (max 10 minutes).
• Perform site audits and report findings to main office.
• Spend most shift in the field observing operations.
• Participate in critical risk activities such as LOTO and working at heights.
• Conduct accident investigations and safety meetings.
• Inspect equipment for safety compliance (cords, tools, lifts, ladders).
• Provide safety training for Freedom Industries employees.
• Other duties related to safety as required.
