Targa Resources is seeking a Safety Supervisor to lead field safety initiatives across its NGL pipeline and trucking operations. The role requires hands-on leadership at pump stations, construction sites, and yards, with significant travel across a multi-state footprint.

You will supervise ES&H specialists, enforce safety programs, and drive DOT/FMCSA compliance while coordinating with operations and HR for training and device/tool upgrades.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or directly related experience considered.
• Minimum 8 years of oil and gas safety experience with OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1910/1926).
• Minimum 3 years in leadership or supervision preferred.
• Hands-on DOT/FMCSA motor carrier compliance experience preferred.
• Pipeline or facility construction experience including startup and SIMOPS is preferred.
• Certifications such as CSP/ASP/CHST/CDS or OSHA Outreach Trainer are preferred; CDL a plus.
• Working knowledge of FMCSA regulations and DOT drug/alcohol testing.

Responsabilidades

• Lead from the field with daily presence at pump stations, right-of-way work, construction sites, and transport yards.
• Supervise ES&H Specialists and contract safety personnel; set priorities and field coverage.
• Implement and verify safety programs in the field: permits, LOTO, hot work, confined space, and SIMOPS.
• Ensure environmental compliance: spill reporting, waste management, SPCC, stormwater, and air reporting.
• Support DOT compliance tools development and conduct safety investigations; track corrective actions to closure.
• Coordinate with Transportation management to ensure DOT/FMCSA compliance for the fleet.
