Job summary

Targa Resources is seeking a Construction Safety Supervisor to provide leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for safety programs across capital projects including gas gathering, compressor stations, processing facilities, and pipelines. The role partners with project management, engineering, operations, and contractor leadership to ensure safe, compliant execution.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading safety programs for industrial construction and midstream projects.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and workforce development skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and industry construction safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction safety activities for multiple concurrent capital projects.
• Establish safety expectations and performance standards across projects.
• Develop and implement project-specific construction safety strategies.
• Partner with project leaders to integrate safety into project execution.
• Promote visible safety leadership through field presence and team engagement.
• Oversee contractor safety programs and performance across projects.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety hazard evaluations for major projects.
• Lead investigations of significant incidents and drive corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA/DOT regulations and company policies.
• Support startup readiness and management of change reviews.
