Targa Resources is seeking a Pipeline Technician to safely operate field gathering and pipeline systems, including compression facilities, processing plants, and related equipment. You will monitor operations, perform locates, assist in pigging, manage site inventories, and support maintenance and emergency procedures.

The role requires 2+ years of field experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work overtime and shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of related work experience.
• Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Interpersonal communication skills are required to interface with all teams.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and variable shifts.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Operate field gathering and pipeline systems safely and efficiently.
• Perform pipeline locates and supervise contractor work around pipelines and right‑of‑ways.
• Perform One Call locates, marking pipelines, and notification/close out.
• Assist pigging operations and document procedures.
• Manage inventory at sites (glycol, methanol, NGLs, produced water).
• Monitor flow rates and volumes; assess pipeline conditions.
• Obtain data from electronic flow measurement (EFM) devices.
• Assist in field SOPs and coworker training.
• Perform routine startup/shutdown of field equipment and emergency procedures.
• Provide maintenance support for compression equipment.
• Follow PPE guidelines and maintain regular attendance.
