Job summary

OnTrac is seeking a Safety Specialist in Dallas, TX to drive safe execution across operations and ensure regulatory compliance. You will partner with site leadership to identify risks, coach teams, and implement safety programs while analyzing data to improve performance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Safety or related field, 2–5 years’ experience, knowledge of OSHA standards, and willingness to travel up to 25%. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Occupational Health, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–5 years of safety experience in warehouse/logistics/industrial environments.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety regulations; incident investigation experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits, audits, and safety observations to identify hazards and compliance gaps.
• Provide real-time coaching and corrective actions to reduce risk and enforce safety policies.
• Lead incident investigations to determine root causes and ensure proper reporting.
• Analyze safety metrics (TRIR, incident trends) to identify risks and drive improvements.
• Support rollout of safety programs and training; maintain records and documentation.
