Job summary

OnTrac is hiring a Safety Specialist in Logan Township, NJ to implement and monitor safety programs across distribution centers and delivery operations. You will help reduce injuries and partner with operational teams to maintain a safe workplace.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, knowledge of OSHA/DOT requirements, and the ability to travel up to 25%. This role follows a Monday–Friday schedule with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards, workplace safety regulations, and broader safety compliance requirements.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards.
• Investigate workplace incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training to employees and contractors and maintain records.
• Monitor safety metrics and collaborate with Operations to improve practices.
• Ensure compliance with hazardous-material handling, ergonomics, and equipment safety standards.
