Job summary

Mooring Disaster Restoration and Commercial Construction is seeking a Field Safety Technician to strengthen workplace safety and regulatory compliance from our Dallas/Fort Worth offices. You will collaborate with the Safety Director, support field and office operations, and drive continuous improvement in safety programs.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Occupational Safety & Health required; equivalent experience considered.
  • Ability to travel out of town for extended durations, depending on project needs.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and best practices.
  • Strong communication skills to lead, train, and engage employees at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site risk assessments and provide real-time guidance to site supervisors.
  • Enforce and enhance company safety policies to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Coordinate and lead engaging safety training sessions for employees.
  • Identify areas for improvement to ensure OSHA compliance and best practices.
  • Assist in investigations of workplace incidents, documenting findings to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with employees at all levels to promote a safety-first culture.
