Job summary

OnTrac in Dallas, TX is seeking a Safety Specialist to drive safe execution at the point of work across operations, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.

You will partner with site leadership to identify hazards, coach frontline teams, conduct incident investigations, and track corrective actions while analyzing safety metrics to improve performance and reduce incidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in safety, occupational health, or related field.
• 2–5 years in a safety role within warehouse/logistics/industrial settings.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety regulations.
• Experience with incident investigations and safety reporting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits, audits, and safety observations to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Provide real-time coaching to associates and leadership to reduce risk.
• Lead incident investigations to determine root causes and ensure proper reporting.
• Track corrective actions and injury reporting in line with OSHA and company policy.
• Analyze safety metrics (TRIR, incident trends) to identify risks and drive improvements.
• Support safety program rollout and training record maintenance.
