Job summary

Right Traffic is seeking a Safety Officer to develop, execute, and monitor safety programs across field operations, ensuring OSHA and environmental compliance, and supporting training and audits. This hands-on role requires approximately 50% travel within the United States and close collaboration with frontline teams to foster a strong safety culture.

The ideal candidate will bring 2-5 years in a safety-related field, solid OSHA knowledge, and the ability to work independently in field

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in a safety-related role within construction, traffic control, utilities, or field-based environments.
• Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and general workplace safety principles.
• Education in Occupational Health & Safety or related field; safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety programs, procedures, and training.
• Promote hazard identification, risk reduction, and continuous improvement across field operations.
• Assist leadership in reinforcing safety expectations and accountability.
• Support environmental compliance and incident reporting, response, and corrective actions.
• Conduct routine site visits to identify hazards, verify compliance, and assess risk.
• Deliver safety training on hazard awareness, emergency response, and safe work practices.
