Job summary

RK Industries is seeking an HSE Specialist to join our field operations team in Denver, CO. You will inspect sites, conduct safety orientations, and support incident investigations, promoting a proactive safety culture across projects.

Collaborating with Superintendents, Foremen, and Project Managers, you’ll ensure compliance with OSHA and site requirements, develop training, and drive continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental practices, ensuring workers go home safe daily.

Qualifications

• Indirect supervision experience in field operations.
• Broad knowledge of safety, health, and environmental principles.
• College/University graduate with 1-3 years relevant experience or equivalent.
• Completion of RK Mechanical Orientation, site orientation, CPR/First Aid/AED/Bloodborne Pathogens, Hazard Identification and Reporting, and OSHA 30.

Responsibilities

• Identify hazards in the workplace and eliminate them.
• Promote safety and health on job sites.
• Conduct continual safety inspections on projects.
• Recommend safety guards and PPE usage.
• Investigate accidents to determine root causes.
• Develop site-specific training plans.
