Job summary

RK Industries in Aurora, CO is hiring a Construction Safety Specialist to support field operations on active projects. You will conduct safety inspections, lead trainings, and investigate incidents to drive safety excellence.

Qualifications

1-3 years of construction safety experience or related field.
Experience performing onsite safety duties in commercial/industrial environments.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations, hazard identification, and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

Conduct jobsite safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
Partner with field leadership to promote safe work practices and strengthen safety culture.
Lead new-hire orientations, jobsite safety meetings, and safety training programs.
Investigate incidents, near misses, and injuries and support corrective actions.
Monitor OSHA regulations and site-specific safety requirements.
Assist with substance abuse testing, claims management, and return-to-work processes as needed.
Support subcontractor and vendor safety compliance on active projects.
Serve as a trusted safety resource for field personnel and project teams.
